Last year when Travis and I were meeting with preachers to marry us, we were told we had to see Fireproof. With planning the wedding we didn't get around to it, but it was always in the back of my mind that we needed to watch this movie. I got it and watched it while Travis was on a roadtrip and decided it was something we had to watch together. It's a movie that reminds you not to take each other for granted. It reminds you that being in a marriage is something that you need to continually work on. We continue to grow as individuals, and in order to continue to have a strong, healthy relationship you need to remember to learn and care about how your partner has grown.I highly recommend this movie to everyone. Share it with your parents, aunts, sisters, friends. It's a wonderful resource that just reminds us how important it is to work on our relationships every day, don't take anyone, or anything, for granted.
"Fireproof doesn't mean the fire will never come. It means when the fire comes that you will be able to withstand it."
